One Response to “Innovative Thinkers Scholarship Program”

    1. Ian D. S. Cohen Says:

To sell each unit individually would be a waste of time and resources. The most effective way to “move” 1000 bicycle-powered generators would be to have a health and fitness company purchase the stationary bicycles, en masse, for use at its facilities; and advertise/publicize it as a way for clients to loose pounds, tone muscles and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Further, as part of their promotional campaign, the health spa would return the generated electricity to the power grid, receive payment from the utility company, and donate the money to a worthy cause, such as providing funds to purchase wind-powered generators to villages in impoverished lands.

The campaign would involve some kind of slogan, such as, “Have a heart? Strengthen it.” Or, “Bicycle to Botswana on your lunch break.” Or, “Donate your fat for a good cause.” Or, “Vanity Powered.”

Making the vain stay slim, help the earth’s atmosphere, and solve the problem of providing needed energy in communities where power is unavailable is a win-win-win situation.
