Biomedical Ethics | Genetic Testing Can Save Lives

Carol Krause is a former medical journalist and a two-time cancer survivor. In the following viewpoint, Krause testifies before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Technology that genetic testing for predisposition to cancer can save lives. The results of genetic testing can help people make decisions that would reduce their risk of getting or dying from cancer, she argues.
