    Yes. There is both small scale irony, in some of the jokes, and larger, structural ironies. One of the easiest examples of the larger ironies is that early in the play, Eugene proposes has everyone share what they'd do if they only had a week to live. This is ironic because the time period is slightly longer, but some of them do only have a short time to live—they are going to war.
