    Sure, he can be considered jealous of Jim. That's not his first or primary response, but it is definitely there. Olaf is an older man, and his physical capacities are diminishing. Jim is a young man and a physical powerhouse. Olaf is wishing he and his wife had saved more money; Jim flashes a big roll of bills and spends freely. In general, Jim is what Olaf is not, and seems at ease with it.
