Do your basics at a community college and transfer—it's cheaper.

Use the smallest meal plan possible and upgrade if you have to.

Don't be too picky about off-campus housing—almost all of it is awful.

Never, ever, expect anyone at the Tower to have your financial aid in order.

Be social—otherwise you'll be bored.
