What are the political and social leanings of most students and faculty? Is it easy to express opposing views?

The school is very liberal, in most cases.  Yes there are some people that are very republican and/or conservative, but almost everybody is accepting of anything.  There are groups dedicated to the LGBT(Q) community, Religion (CRU) and many others like democratic and republican related clubs/organizations.

I have found that teachers are very willing to talk about almost anything.  According to the polls for Obama's Election BSU was VERY blue, we helped make Indiana a Blue state, which is very exciting.  I love being able to talk about ANYTHING to any faculty or person here.  People are very accepting of others opinions and are willing to give that opinion a shot.
