What are the political and social leanings of most students and faculty? Is it easy to express opposing views? Posted by enotes on Aug 28, 2008. |

In reply to #1: The school is very liberal, in most cases. Yes there are some people that are very republican and/or conservative, but almost everybody is accepting of anything. There are groups dedicated to the LGBT(Q) community, Religion (CRU) and many others like democratic and republican related clubs/organizations. I have found that teachers are very willing to talk about almost anything. According to the polls for Obama's Election BSU was VERY blue, we helped make Indiana a Blue state, which is very exciting. I love being able to talk about ANYTHING to any faculty or person here. People are very accepting of others opinions and are willing to give that opinion a shot.
