        <description><![CDATA[<p>The distortion of identity in this short-story seems to come from the obsession of the protagonist and the isolation of both him and the axolotl. In your opinnion who chose the identity switch? I am aware that the result is the same, but in this discussion I am concerned with the change.  Who chose the transformation? Why?</p>]]></description>
