Can anybody post information on how to research blogs?

I need past research to write a literature review on my research...

    Blogs are interesting portals and virtual communities. I think you can research the blog culture in many different ways. Here are some examples or suggestions for further study.

    1. You can study blogs from a sociological perspective. Do they create community? If so, what kinds of communities do they create? What does all of this do to communication and intimacy?

    2. You can also take a look at blogs from the point of view of politics. Do blog change people's opinions and can they be said to influence votes?

    3. If you want more information on blogs, check out - wordpress or blogger. Do a google search and you will see that wordpres and blogger are huge. With a few click of a mouse, you will be in a different world.
