A Dolly shot is when a camera is mounted on a cart, called a dolly, and moved along a track. The camera records the scene as it moves.
A Dolly Zoom is used when the camera is moved closer or further away from a subject while the zoom lens is used to keep the subject the same size in the frame. In other words, the background changes size and becomes distorted while the subject remains stationary.
