Zemi
Zemi [Di].ARAWAKAN deity recognized in northeastern South America and the Caribbean. Commonly represented on household implements as well as in places of worship such as temples built of organic materials and caves. Visualized in both animal and human form, Zemi is thought to be of Mesoamerican derivation.
