James I
James I (VI of Scotland) [Na].King of the House of Stuart from 1603. Born 1566, son of Mary, queen of Scots and granddaughter of Margaret Tudor, elder daughter of Henry VII, and Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley. Married Anne, daughter of Frederick II of Denmark. Died in 1625 aged 58, having reigned 22 years.
