Imhotep
Imhotep [Di].Egyptian god, chief minister of Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty. Architect of the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, and later deified and worshipped as a god of medicine. He is shown as a man holding a roll of papyrus. Equated by the Greeks with Asklepios and Imouthes.
