geometric microliths

geometric microliths [Ar].
Small blade tools of geometric form usually having a point or transverse edge. Almost certainly hafted, possibly forming composite tools and weapons. Characteristic of the Mesolithic but they do begin to appear by the end of the Upper Palaeolithic.
