Antony is enjoying his time with Cleopatra, his mistress, but then receives the news that his wife has died. He knows he needs to return to Rome, but hesitates telling Cleopatra the reason. She knows something is up, so she pouts and even fakes being sick to try to convince him to stay. Finally he admits the truth, so she tells him to go and promises her unending love for him.
