    The story ends when Mr. Kraler is forced to go in with the police to search the house.  The police have recieved information from an informant that there are Jews being hidden in the house.  Mr. Kraler tries to keep the police from looking behind the bookcase but he was forced up the stairs at gunpoint.  The police take the whole group,  including Mr. Kraler, in for questioning.

    When they force Mr. Kraler because one of the new employees there snitched on them anyway.... they searched the house and when they finally went to the bookcase they had him at gunpoint and the only thing he could do was open the cae and the family got taken and Mr. Kraler had to be questioned.
