   According to Aristotle, a tragic character ( or hero) is a character embodies nobility and greatness in his/her character. However, the tragic character is not perfect which makes him/her someone with whom we can identify. The downfall of the character is partially his/her own fault, but also can be caused by fate or an error in judgment, Boxer is the hardest working animal on animal farm.. Whenever things are not going well, his solution is "I will work harder". Thus he takes responsibility for failures that are not his, but those of the system the pigs have erected. He also keeps repeating "Napoleon is always right". This mantra means he does not really think about the true situation; he just accepts what the leaders tell him. Sadly, the leaders, who said they would care for him, simply sell him to a glue factory when his usefulness has ended. Boxer represents the workers who labored under the oppression of Josef Stalin after the Communist revolution. He, like the workers, toil on and the reward for his work is to be slaughtered.
