   Boxer and Snowball are particularly honoured for their participation in the animals' insurrection against Farmer Jones - Snowball for his strategy during the battle and Boxer for forcing the men off of the farm.

   Both 'brains and brawn' are needed to get control of the farm and to run it. From the very start, both Snowball and Boxer show that this is true.
