    Many years have passed since the revolution. Snowball has been forgotten and so have the promises that he made about the windmill bringing a better life for all the animals. Instead, the windmill is used for milling corn, which brings a great profit to the pigs, but the money is not invested in better living conditions for the animals. All the other commandments are now condensed into one saying, "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others." The "revolution" has removed Jones as their master and he has been replaced by a more tyrannical Napoleon.
