    The two reasons why the other animals in the farm do not protest against Snowball's expulsion are:

    1.They were too terrified of the dogs: "silent and terrifed, the animals crept back into the barn."

    2. Since they could not find the correct reasons to protest against Snowball's expulsion:"several of them would have protested if they could have found the right arguments."
