    This is on page 8 of my copy of the book - in chapter 1.  The animals decide to make rats comrades, and then Major repeats the following points (I'm paraphrasing here):

    1. Be an enemy of man and all he stands for
    2. Two legs = enemy, four legs/wings = friend
    3. Do not try to look like men.
    4. No animal should live in a house, sleep in a bed, wear clothes, drink liquor, smoke tobacoo, touch money, or engage in trade.
    5. No animal must lord over other animals or kill another animal; all animals should be equal at all times.

    It is funny to note how many of Major's rules are "rearranged" by the other pigs after his death.
