“I really love the small, tolerant atmosphere at Amherst. I am extremely happy here, and even though there are some shortcomings (like the housing and the food), they are not crucial to your existence here. It is very easy to settle in, and very easy to meet a huge portion of the people on campus—something you could never hope to do at a large university or college.”

“Although I was somewhat disappointed with the academics, the interesting people more than made up for it, and in the end, I am happy to have gone to Amherst. It's not perfect. There are plenty of things that I would have liked to see improved. Ultimately though, I know that I'm having a great college experience and if I could turn back time, I probably wouldn't go anywhere else.”
