Did You Know?

Smith primarily offers grants based on need rather than merit. A small number of awards, however, are based on merit rather than need. They include the Zollman Scholarship and the STRIDE (Student Research in Departments) program, which gives students a weekly stipend and the opportunity to assist a professor with research. Picker Fellowships are available to domestic and international students applying to the engineering science program.
