Rockhurst University, founded in 1910, is a private comprehensive, Catholic Jesuit institution that offers undergraduate programs in the arts and sciences, education, nursing, and business. There are 4 undergraduate and 2 graduate schools. In addition to regional accreditation, Rockhurst has baccalaureate program accreditation with AACTE, APTA, CAHEA, NLN and TEAC.
