Introduction

Alcorn State University, founded in 1871, is a public institution offering programs in agriculture, the arts and sciences, business, engineering, and nursing. There are 6 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school. In addition to regional accreditation, Alcorn State University has baccalaureate program accreditation with AACSB, AAFCS, ADA, AHEA, NAIT, NASM, NCATE, and NLN. My cousin is enrolled at Alcorn and he tells me its great to be. He plays basketball for Alcorn.
