Introduction

Albany College of Pharmacy, founded in 1881, is a private, 6-year institution and a division of Union University. In addition to regional accreditation, Albany College of Pharmacy has baccalaureate program accreditation with ACPE. The library contains 12,314 volumes, 28,388 microform items, and 2676 audio/video tapes/CDs/DVDs, and subscribes to 1399 periodicals including electronic. Computerized library services include the card catalog, interlibrary loans, database searching, and Internet access. Special learning facilities include a learning resource center and a pharmacy museum. The 1-acre campus is in an urban area in the University Heights area of Albany. Including any residence halls, there are 6 buildings.
