    To begin with,  Alexas is "Cleopatra’s eunuch, opposed to his queen’s and Antony’s love. Scheming Alexas uses flattery, chicanery, and lies to influence people" (Enotes). 

    We can assume that yes, Alexas dies.  He has been taken into custody for his treachery and most likely, awaits execution.  Enotes states that "Alexas is brought to justice for his perfidy [transgressions]" (Enotes).
