In the following viewpoint, Jeanne Warren Lindsay contends that birth fathers are often left out of the adoption process and do not receive adequate counseling or emotional support. She claims that contrary to popular belief, many unmarried young fathers are interested in dealing with unplanned pregnancies and being a part of their children’s lives.
