About the Authors: Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal (1972–) is a nine-time National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star. He was the top draft choice in 1992, leaving Louisiana State University after his junior season. In 1996, he was traded from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers, whom he helped to three consecutive NBA titles beginning in 2000. O'Neal has also endorsed many products, as well as producing and performing on rap albums and appearing in movies.
