I'm writing an essay on Winston's memories of family within 1984, I've written about the time he runs away with his sister's chocolate, and when he is playing snakes and ladders with her and his mother. How about the time his sister and mother went without their ration of food because Winston was hungry, and since he was the boy, he was given a larger portion?
