Ok so i have been searching and searching and there are two things i cannot for the life of me find or think of && i really need some help. The 1st thing: Why did Winston throw the photograph of Aaronson, Jones and Rutherford in the memory hole? & The 2nd thing: Winston predicts that certain people will be vaporized and that certain people will never be vaporized. Who does he think will be vaporized? Why?
I really need help with these. I have looked in a few different places in the book and i cannot find them for the life of me!

Winston throws the photo in the memory hole because it is his job to rewrite history. Whatever comes across his desk is his responsibility, and he secretly suspects that others in his department are given the same tasks. He wants to do the best job at "rewriting" so that his version will be the one used. He says the Syme will be vaporized--the dictionary guy--because he is so wrapped up in his work and too intelligent. He is surprised to see his neighbor at the Ministry of Love (turned in by his own children) since he was such a patriot an d the epitome of a Party Member follower.
