About the Authors: Bob Woodward (1943–) graduated from Yale, then served for five years as a Navy communications officer during the Vietnam War (1964–1975). He joined The Washington Post as a reporter in 1971. He and Carl Bernstein worked together in covering the Watergate break-in and scandal in 1972–74. Their reporting and subsequent book, All the President's Men revealed many details about Watergate to the public for the first time and made them celebrities. Woodward went on to write many more best-selling books and was an assistant managing editor at The Washington Post in 2003.
