About the Authors: William Calley (1943–) served a short time in prison for his role in the My Lai massacre. After the Vietnam War (1964–1975), he served as the manager of a jewelry store owned by his father-in-law.
John Sack (1930–) was educated at Harvard University. He served in the Korean War (1950–1953) and has been a writer for United Press, CBS, and Esquire. His other books include Report From Practically Nowhere (1959).
