About the Author: Vincent Bugliosi (1933–) received his law degree from UCLA. He was a successful prosecutor, losing just one out of 106 felony cases that he tried. After his fame from the Manson murder trial and his successful book about it, Helter Skelter, he continued to prosecute cases and occasionally write books about them. In the 1990s, he published popular books on the O.J. Simpson case, the Paula Jones–Bill Clinton lawsuit, and the 2000 presidential election.
