About the Author: Robert F. Kennedy (1925–1968), the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy (served 1961–1963), was educated at Harvard and the University of Virginia Law School. He served as an assistant to Joseph McCarthy and as counsel to the McClelland Committee. After helping manage his brother's successful election campaigns, he served as U.S. attorney general. As a senator from New York, he was running for president in 1968 when he was assassinated.
