About the Architects: John Dinkeloo (1918–1981) was born in Holland, Michigan. He studied at the University of Michigan School of Architecture, after which he worked for Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill as a structural engineer. He joined the firm of Eero Saarinen in 1950, making partner five years later. In 1966 he entered into partnership with Kevin Roche in Hamden, Connecticut.
Kevin Roche was born in Dublin, Ireland. He studied architecture at University College in Dublin, graduating in 1945. Not long after graduating, he went to work at the firm of Michael Scott, one of Ireland's premier architects. In 1948 he...
