About the Organization: Mary Breckinridge (1881–1965) created the Quarterly Bulletin of the Frontier Nursing Service in 1925 at the behest of the board of directors of the group, then called the Kentucky Committee for Mothers and Babies. As the group's official publication, the Quarterly Bulletin carried items of interest to its members and to nurses.
