About the Author: Mary C. Morgan was a graduate of the Bryn Mawr College in 1915, and she was associated with the Lansdowne Country Club of Philadelphia. She edited Girls and Athletics, a book that was part of the Spalding's Athletic Library, one of the most prominent publishing endeavors in the early history of sport.
