About the Artist: Robert Henri (1865–1929) was born Robert Cozad in Cincinnati, Ohio. Robert's family moved frequently, living in Nebraska and New Jersey before he was eighteen. A legal dispute between his father and a neighbor ended in the death of the neighbor, forcing Robert's father to flee town. Following this event, Robert changed his last name from Cozad to Henri, so he would not be connected to his father. After attending the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia...
